Do I have to buy a ticket if I don't have my MOBIB card with me or it doesn't work?

You must always have a valid ticket, otherwise you risk a fine.

If you have requested a duplicate MOBIB card, you are entitled to free tickets that you can use until your MOBIB card is in order.
Alternatively, if you have activated digital boarding in the app, you can still travel validly without a MOBIB card. This way, you don't have to buy an extra ticket.
If you have not yet applied for a duplicate and have not activated digital boarding, you will have to buy a valid ticket.
