When you pay contactless on the bus/tram, the payment is only charged at the end of the day. If you have insufficient funds in your account at the time of settlement, the payment will be declined by the bank and you will have an outstanding debt with De Lijn.
You will only be able to pay contactless again once the outstanding debt has been collected.
