MOBIB cards are electronic chip cards that are valid for five years. They are carriers on which you can load a travel pass.

• Do you not yet have one, or has your card expired? If so, we will charge 5 euros for a new MOBIB card. This will automatically be included in the price when you purchase your travel pass.
  
  
• Is your MOBIB card lost, stolen or visible defective? Then you need a new card. We will charge 10 euros for a replacement. Here’s how to request a replacement.
  
  
• Is your card defective, without any visible damage? If so, after we’ve checked it we’ll replace it free of charge within the validity period of 5 years. When you request a new one to replace a defective MOBIB card via the online form, you must add a photo. If you do not do this, 10 euros will be charged.
