How do I activate my ticket via the app or website?

Always activate your ticket before you board. 

Are you traveling with multiple people? Then activate a ticket for each traveler.

How do I activate my ticket via the website?

  1. Go to the De Lijn website and navigate to ‘My account’. Log in if you haven’t already.
  2. In the menu, go to ‘Ticket Zone’. Here you will see an overview of your purchased tickets.
  3. Select one ticket and activate it.
  4. After a few seconds, the ticket will appear among your active tickets. You now have a valid ticket.
  5. After activation, you can travel validly. The duration of your travel is shown on the activated ticket.

When activating tickets via the website, you will also receive a copy of your tickets by email, with all necessary information. We also accept this (printed) email as a valid ticket.

How do I activate my ticket in the De Lijn app?

  1. Open the De Lijn app. Log in if you haven’t already.
  2. Click on 'Products' and choose the ticket you want to activate under ‘Purchased’;
  3. Click ‘Activate’ and then 'Confirm'
  4. After activation, you can travel validly. The duration of your travel is shown on the activated ticket.
