How can we help you?

Terug

What should I do if I am involved in an accident or incident on or around a De Lijn vehicle?

Report the incident as soon as possible via the De Lijn customer service. Provide us with the following information as completely as possible:

  • Your contact details
  • The date and time of the incident
  • The line number and location
  • A brief description of what happened
  • Any evidence (such as the European accident statement, official report, photos, witness statements, injured passenger form, etc.)

The more information we receive, the faster we can process your file.

Were you injured?

If necessary, consult a doctor immediately.

Keep all medical documents and expenses carefully. These are necessary for the further processing of your file.

What happens after I have made a report?

  • Customer service registers your report.
  • Your file is forwarded to the claims management department.
  • Once your file is fully assigned and being processed, the claims management department will contact you.

The processing time depends on the complexity of the file and the availability of the necessary information.

Always mention your unique file number in further communication: ##[SB]unique file number##
