We try for 15 to 30 days to automatically settle your debt. If this succeeds, you can use contactless payment for a ride with us again. You can also settle your debt yourself:
- Make sure there is enough balance in the bank account linked to your medium (used bank card, payment app, or wearable).
- Go to the contactless payment portal and follow the instructions.
- Check if you are using the correct card with an outstanding debt. Google Pay allows you to use multiple cards, so make sure to check which one you are using carefully.
To pay off a debt from your wallet (Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.) via the portal, you need to log in using the card number, not the payment reference. Use the card details of the physical card linked to your wallet.
