Ordinary bicycles are not allowed on a bus or tram. You can take a folding bicycle or folding step on to a bus or tram in the folded position free of charge, provided that you do not inconvenience any other passengers.

Note: the folding bicycle and scooter must be folded on the bus or tram.

So what about the Coast Tram along Belgium’s coastline? Normal bikes or E-Bikes are allowed on the Coast Tram. Buy a Coast Tram bicycle ticket on board or from a ticket machine. Up to 2 or 3 bicycles are allowed on to each Coast Tram.

In case of heavy crowds, the driver may decide not to allow (folding) bikes or scooters.
