Buying a travel pass through the application form

You can do this in four easy steps.

1. Complete the digital application form. Upload a passport photo along with a copy of a document that proves your identity. This could be a driving licence, passport, registration document or birth certificate.
2. We’ll check your details and send you an email with payment instructions.
3. Click on the link in the email and pay for your travel pass online.
4. Your travel pass should be automatically added to your MOBIB card.
   Haven’t got a MOBIB card yet? Then you will receive one at your official address after seven days.

Buying a travel pass in a Lijnwinkel store

You can also buy a travel pass in a Lijnwinkel store. Make sure you have your identity card with you!

Tip

Do you not have an identity card (ID card), Belgian national register number or alien number (V-number)? Then bring a passport photo together with the document proving your identity. This could be a driving licence, passport, registration document or birth certificate.

Payment can be made in Lijnwinkel stores by Bancontact, Visa or Mastercard. Your travel pass will then immediately be added to your MOBIB card.
If you don’t have one yet, you will be given a 14-day pass. You will then receive a MOBIB card with your travel pass on it at your official address within seven working days.
