It is possible, but we do not recommend it as you cannot specify your destination when validating. When validating these products on the same MOBIB-card, the following principles apply:

• Combination of Brupass ticket and Brupass XL-ticket: the Brupass XL-ticket is always validated, regardless of the travel.
• Combination of Brupass subscription and Brupass XL-ticket: the subscription is always validated. If you travel from the city zone to the suburban zone, you are in violation and risk a fine.

We recommend purchasing Brupass (XL) tickets:

• via the De Lijn app
• via the app of TEC, NMBS, and MIVB
• at TEC, NMBS, and MIVB on a second MOBIB card or on an anonymous MOBIB basic card.
