How long is a transport ticket on a card valid?

The card expires 1 year after the issue date. Except for the 50-ride card, which is valid for 3 months after purchase. The issue date is the day you buy the card at the Lijnwinkel or a ticket machine.
Cards purchased through a pre-sale point (e.g., newsstand) or online via the eShop of Payworld Express are pre-printed and sent to distribution points. To bridge this logistical period, they are valid for a longer time. Therefore, the expiration date stated on these cards is not exactly 1 year.
You can validate the card until 11:59 PM on the stated expiration day and also complete the trip after midnight.
