Why do I have to turn on my location data when using digital boarding?

Do you have a smartphone with Android version 11 or lower? And do you want to register your boarding or transfer? If so, you need to enable your location data. This is a requirement of the operating system. Please note: De Lijn does not use these location data.

If your smartphone is Android version 12 or higher, just turning on your Bluetooth is enough.
