You will receive a type 1 fine if you:

• travel without a valid ticket;
• make the vehicles, stops, tracks, or public spaces dirty;
• make the installations, infrastructure, or equipment dirty or deliberately use them incorrectly;
• disturb public order or peace through drunkenness, narcotics, uncleanliness, unwanted physical contact, insulting, intimidating, or threatening statements or actions;
• are in possession of an object or substance that may inconvenience, soil, or cause discomfort to other people;
• block the doors of a vehicle or lean against them;
• board a bus at the rear instead of at the front;
• distract the driver or another staff member during the journey;
• lean or reach over the safety barriers or markings;
• gain unauthorized access to service counters and passageways that are off-limits to the public;
• smoke in vehicles, shelters, and other covered spaces of De Lijn;
• do not follow the instructions of the driver or inspection staff.
