How can I receive push, SMS, or voice messages with updates about my flex ride?

Push notification in the De Lijn Flex app

You receive updates via a push notification in the app when push notifications are enabled for the De Lijn Flex app.

A push notification appears on your mobile device and disappears once you tap on it. You cannot find the notification afterwards or read it again in the app.

  • Note: if your push notifications are off, you will not receive any messages, not even SMS. 

Turning push notifications on/off:

  • Android: settings - Apps - De Lijn Flex app - App settings
  • iOS: settings - De Lijn Flex app - Notifications

Notification via SMS

You only receive updates via SMS when the Flex app is not installed on your smartphone. 

Updates via SMS are saved; you can view these messages again at a later time.

  • Note: if you have installed the Flex app, you will not receive SMS messages. Then enable push notifications in the app.

Notification via a voice message

A voice message is an automated spoken message. You can only receive this if a landline phone number is linked to your account.
