How do I book a journey with the flexbus?

You can book a De Lijn Flex flexbus via Hoppin. Whenever you enquire about a journey through the Hoppin travel planner in the Hoppin app or on the website, or through the Hoppin Switchboard, the most suitable solution for your journey by public transport is calculated.

You must book a journey with the flexbus in advance, and this can be done from 30 days to 30 minutes in advance through the Hoppin app or website or by calling the Hoppin Switchboard. Although we recommend that you book well in advance to ensure that a flex bus is still available.

Bear in mind that:

  • you can only take the flex bus if there is no other option, the fixed bus or the train;
  • there must be room on the flexible vehicles for your journey. Reservations in time are therefore strongly recommended.

Do you want to book a recurring ride for several days at the same time? Which can! You can make reservations for one week via the Hoppincentrale.

Planning an accessible ride

When making your first telephone booking for flexible transport, let the Hoppin Switchboard know that you need an accessible ride. Depending on your mobility needs

    • we can provide an accessible vehicle.
    • you may or may not be able to travel the proposed combined mobility route(s) directly in one flexbus.

After your initial telephone registration, your needs will be recorded. You can then book with the Hoppin app or website or through the Hoppin Switchboard.
