The personal stop alert in our app works using beacons on our vehicles. These exchange information in real time – and via Bluetooth – with your smartphone. In short, when you are at the stop you

• tap ‘Track your ride’ at the top of our app, and
• see the ‘Which line are you on?’ screen appear.

You can then check real-time information about our buses and trams, even if they are about 100 metres away from you. If you want some guidance during your ride, activate personal stop alerts.

• Tap the bell icon next to the stop in the app.
• You will receive a notification one stop in advance and will know exactly where and when to get off.
• In the meantime, you can look out of the window or scroll through another app. The push notification will come anyway (and on time), so you can relax!

This function can only work properly if you share your location with us, so be sure to tick ‘Always’ if we ask you to share this data.
