Did you purchase or renew your travel pass via an email from De Lijn?
Did you receive an email from De Lijn with payment instructions? If you pay via the link in the email your new travel pass is loaded onto your MOBIB card maximum 1 hour after purchase.

Did you purchase or renew your travel pass on the website?
If you purchase your travel pass on the website then you can use it maximum 1 hour after purchase.
Please note
You need a valid ticket for every journey with De Lijn, even while you are waiting for your new MOBIB card. If there was an ongoing subscription on your old card, you can get a temporary ticket for free in our Lijnwinkel. If not, you can purchase this via the app, by SMS or through another sales channel. That way you don't risk a fine. These tickets are not refunded by De Lijn.
Your MOBIB card is still not working?
Verify whether your travel pass has been loaded onto your MOBIB card. Do this by scanning your card at a MOBIB scanner on the bus or tram and pressing the info button.
Contact our Travel Pass Department or drop by a Lijnwinkel if your travel pass hasn’t been loaded onto your MOBIB card.
