Once you have activated an m-ticket on your smartphone, the colour of the control bar changes during the available travel time. You then have a valid ticket and can board the bus or tram.
When our De Lijn inspectors are checking tickets, they will ask for your mobile phone number. They can then verify through our help desk whether an m-ticket has been requested for that number. The help desk may also send a text message to check whether the specified number is that of the smartphone in question.
If you purchase a digital m-ticket on our site, you must also have a smartphone with our app and/or access to our website.
If you have the app: You can find your ticket under the Tickets tab.
If you don't have the app: Then you can surf to our website on your smartphone, log in with your account and activate and find the ticket in the left column at Tickets.
