This temporary offer wasn’t set up to financially compensate travel pass holders because of Covid-19. It was an initiative to introduce flexibility to our annual travel passes. The plan is to assess this initiative and learn lessons from the campaign with a view to the ongoing development of new, more flexible, personalised travel pass formulas in the future.
We fully understand that taking the bus and tram wasn’t always advisable in the past year and that you have therefore had less opportunity to use your travel pass. At the same time we wish to stress that we have taken our social role seriously by continuing to operate almost every journey under difficult circumstances throughout the pandemic.
